Chuck 1986-2004
He has led us to her
MBISS/MBIS Cdn/Am. Ch. Klassic's Root Toot Toot  "TOOTSIE"

Chuck is now at the Rainbow Bridge with a lot of other wonderful Basenji friends. We lost him on Dec. 6, 2002. He will be missed tremendously as he was my best friend for years. He would have been 16 on Dec. 31.. He was a wonderful showdog, being the #1 male Basenji in 1990. He is and always will be my favorite Basenji. His flawless movement was appreciated by breeders and judges alike. He won the Canadian National specialty from the Veterans class at 9 1/2 years old. His accomplishments are many and the only thing we didn’t win was the Best in Show. But in my heart, he is and always will be the Best. He has sired many American and Canadian champion offspring. His son Mish was Canada’s #1 Basenji, his granddaughter Dottie, was Canada’s #1 Basenji for 3 years. Then, his granddaughter Tootsie was #8 for 2002, #4 in 2003 and #3 in 2004.  In 2006, his great-grandaughter won BOS at Westminster and the National specialty, to become #l in the US. In 2007, both Klassy & Millie were #1 in their respective countries. So far, in 2008, they again rank #1 in their breeds and groups.
